Description

Fan-in render for Erik's v3 review corrections after BoG review zoom v2.

Goal: build BoG_2026_review_zoom_v3.pdf under slides/v2-review-zoom using the corrected focused outputs from the v3 tasks.

Required corrections to integrate:

  • Slide 06a: replace with a violin/distribution view that marks the 500 kb analysis cap and does not imply >500 kb was measured.
  • Slide 07a: replace fuzzy/misaligned heatmap/tree with a crisp source-regenerated visual whose tree leaves exactly match rows.
  • Slide 07c: fix, annotate, or drop the unrooted tree if acrocentric arms are missing or misleading.
  • Slide 08b: discard centroid metric; use within-population pairwise distance/variation metric.
  • Slide 09: use a square 1:1 MDS/PCoA plot with all communities C1-C15 labeled.
  • Slide 10a: fix heatmap axis/transpose/community-box alignment.
  • Slide 11: replace unexplained W/B jargon with explicit within-community vs between-community distance wording.
  • Slide 12: keep the strong mouse zygotene slide and consider adding a human sequence-similarity vs 3D-contact dot plot if the v3 human task produces a valid analog.
  • Slide 14a/gene block: integrate focused systematic genome-browser-style PHR gene annotation panels if valid; replace the low-information DUX4 context slide.

Requirements:

  • Own all Typst/deck edits. Do not let fanout tasks edit zoom_review_deck.typ.
  • Preserve v1 and v2 PDFs; produce BoG_2026_review_zoom_v3.pdf and REVISION_NOTES_V3.md.
  • Compile Typst to PDF and per-page PNGs.
  • Confirm 16:9 page size, page count, and nonblank representative pages.
  • Record which user criticisms were fixed, which were deferred, and why.
  • Keep provenance for every new asset, including generator script and source data.

Validation:

  • v3 PDF and PNGs render successfully.
  • REVISION_NOTES_V3.md maps every user complaint to a concrete action.
  • No stale .wg-worktrees absolute paths under slides/v2-review-zoom.
  • Main checkout may have unrelated state; do not revert unrelated files.
