Description

User feedback: slide 07a is fuzzy; the tree does not match the rows and appears bigger/misaligned.

Goal: regenerate slide 07a from source data with crisp resolution and exact row/tree alignment.

Requirements:

  • Inspect v2 slide 07a asset and generator script, plus the earlier slide 07 fanout output.
  • Determine whether the mismatch is from raster scaling, tree plotting margins, row order, or an actual order mismatch.
  • Regenerate a high-resolution or vector-first candidate where heatmap rows/columns and tree leaves are exactly the same ordered arm list.
  • If using UPGMA, label it UPGMA. If using NJ, label it NJ. Do not mix tree methods in the same visual.
  • Include p/q label coloring only if it remains crisp and does not break alignment.
  • Output an arm-order TSV and a validation check proving tree tip order equals heatmap row order.
  • Keep outputs under slides/v2-review-zoom/_revision_assets/v3/07a_crisp_aligned/.
  • Do not edit deck source.

Validation:

  • Candidate PDF/PNG is crisp at slide scale.
  • README names the ordering method and includes row/tree order validation.
  • Candidate does not use a stretched raster crop.
