Description

User feedback: slide 06a should maybe be a violin plot, and it must visibly mark that the analysis stops at 500 kb; values above 500 kb are not measured.

Goal: replace or improve the v2 ranked length summary with a talk-ready violin/distribution visual that makes the <500 kb measurement cap explicit.

Requirements:

  • Inspect current v2 slide 06a and previous slide 06 fanout outputs.
  • Use the canonical length source documented in the repo, not a copied PNG.
  • Generate at least one candidate violin-style plot grouped by meaningful category: chromosome arm, p/q arm side, named community/clade, or selected outlier groups. Prefer a plot that is readable on one slide.
  • Add a clear visual marker at 500 kb: capped axis, dashed line, right-censor marker, or label such as analysis capped at 500 kb / >500 kb unobserved.
  • Do not imply the true distribution ends at 500 kb. State it is a measurement/search cap.
  • Keep candidate outputs under slides/v2-review-zoom/_revision_assets/v3/06_violin_censor/.
  • Do not edit the Typst deck source; final fan-in owns deck edits.

Validation:

  • Candidate PNG/PDF exists and is legible.
  • README explains data source, unit of observation, grouping choice, and 500 kb cap.
  • No stale worktree paths are embedded.
