Apply only non-judgment mechanical corrections that are clearly supported: sample-count reconciliation, duplicate reference cleanup, removal or replacement of construction artifacts and /moosefs paths, acronym fixes, empty-section triage, and symbol-collision fixes. Compile from submission if edits are made. Write paper_prep/manuscript_revision/A_mechanical_fixes.md with changed files, line-level rationale, build command/result, and any unresolved author decisions. Do not resolve J-marked framing questions here.
