Goal: clean up slides 09a/09b/09c so the talk leads harder with the community story and avoids confusing PCA vs MDS duplication. Erik notes 09c is the actual community-colored MDS slide.

Requirements:

Audit current 09a/09b/09c assets and labels; replace PCA wording with MDS/PCoA where correct.
Explore a direct-labeled MDS: label major communities/clades on the plot rather than requiring a separate legend-only slide.
Decide whether 09b should remain a clade legend, become a prelude before 09c, or be integrated as in-plot labels plus a compact side legend.
Preserve community vocabulary and colors consistently with slides 07 and 13/14.
Do not edit deck source; final integration owns deck changes.
