Description

Read wg_manuscript_revision_prompt.md and inventory the active manuscript, figure assets, local analysis outputs, and data/code paths needed for this revision cycle.

This task is the mandatory first gate. Do not edit manuscript text except to create the requested artifact. Do not launch heavy compute. Use rg/find/sed/head and lightweight metadata inspection only. The head node is sacred: do not stream the 10 GB sequence-level similarity file or run expensive R loads here.

Deliverable: write paper_prep/manuscript_revision/00_inventory.md containing:

  • active manuscript path(s), build command, bibliography structure
  • mapping of prompt clusters A-G to source files and likely data/code dependencies
  • explicit split: no-compute judgment/text tasks vs system/data/cluster tasks
  • known small cached tables vs heavy inputs requiring Slurm
  • proposed output directory convention for revision artifacts
  • risks/blockers, including any missing files or untracked prompt issues

After writing the artifact, register it with wg artifact and mark done.

Validation

  • paper_prep/manuscript_revision/00_inventory.md exists
  • It identifies submission/paper.tex or explains why not
  • It lists concrete paths for C-0, C-2, B-4/B-5, F-3, D-1, F-1 where discoverable
  • It explicitly says which tasks must not be auto-resolved because they are J tasks
  • It avoids heavy head-node computation
