Description

This is a TARGETED fix task: address ONE specific panel criticism by producing a structured fix spec. The assembler will apply all specs deterministically to v3 → v3.1.

Output

~/poietic.life/notes/v3-fixes/fix-XXX.md with sections:

  • Criticism (verbatim from synthesis)
  • Target section + word cap
  • Current text (verbatim from v3)
  • Proposed text (your fix)
  • Word count check (before / after / cap)
  • Rationale (one paragraph: why this fix lands the criticism)

Constraints

  • Word cap respected (recount).
  • No em-dashes, no PI language, no v1 terms, no recursion claim.
  • CRISPRme/Casgevy framing precise. DNA-Diffusion not in funded scope.
  • Founder order Erik / Luca / Vaughn.
  • Do NOT edit v3 directly. Only produce the spec.

This fix (DIVERGENT FINDING — Erik decides)

Criticism: Sympathetic reviewer praised §29 as 'unusually honest.' Skeptical reviewer attacked it as 'three paragraphs of hedge, reads as expecting to underdeliver.' Same words, opposite read.

Target: §29 (200w cap)

Action: Produce TWO versions in the spec:

  1. Keep-honest version (current §29 trimmed/sharpened to maximize the 'unusually honest' read while removing any phrases that read as hedging).
  2. Trim-confidence version (§29 reworded with same content but more confident voice — fewer hedges, more declarative).

Both must respect 200w cap. Both must NOT recreate v2's clinical-results overclaim. Spec recommends one but produces both for Erik to choose.
