Create a zoomed companion to render-bog-annotated: a revision/focus deck where each page shows one figure or one coherent figure panel at large scale.

Source context:

  • Base task: render-bog-annotated, which produced /moosefs/erikg/phrs/slides/v2-review/BoG_2026_review.pdf and /moosefs/erikg/phrs/slides/v2-review/_typst/review_deck.typ.
  • Use the annotated review deck assets in /moosefs/erikg/phrs/slides/v2-review/_typst/assets/ as the canonical source.
  • There is an older slides/v2-zoom deck, but it references stale .wg-worktrees/agent-878 paths. Do not reuse those paths. You may use it only as layout inspiration.

Layout requirements:

  • 16:9 landscape, same page size as the review deck: 13.33in x 7.5in / 959.76 x 540pt.
  • One visual focus per page. No right-hand explanation column.
  • Maximize the visual: use nearly the full slide area, with only a compact title/header and tiny source/footer if needed.
  • Use fit: "contain"; avoid cropping data unless the source is deliberately split into separate top/bottom or panel pages.
  • Keep labels short and revision-oriented: slide number + figure/panel name is enough.
  • Text-only slides 01 and 15 may remain text-only focus pages, but all figure-containing slides should become single-figure pages.

  • 02 interval tree: one page
  • 03 workflow and ER callout: split into separate pages if both visuals are retained
  • 04 Fig 1 genome-wide heatmap: one page

Important worktree note: The main checkout currently has slides/v2-review files in an unmerged/dirty state from the prior render merge. Do not revert or clean those files. If your isolated worktree cannot see them by relative path, read/copy from the absolute /moosefs/erikg/phrs/slides/v2-review/... paths. Keep your new output under slides/v2-review-zoom/.

Validation:

  • Compile the Typst source to PDF.
  • Confirm PDF page size is 16:9 and page count is plausible for the splits above.
  • Render page PNGs and check that representative pages are nonblank and show exactly one large visual focus.
  • Log the validation with wg log, then mark done with produced artifact paths.

    If wg is not on PATH inside the agent shell, use the absolute binary /home/erikg/.cargo/bin/wg for wg msg/log/artifact/done commands. The task source assets are visible in your worktree under slides/v2-review/_typst and also at /moosefs/erikg/phrs/slides/v2-review/_typst.

    Pragmatic guidance: do not get stuck looking for ImageMagick/PIL/pdf tools. Typst can compile PDF and export per-page PNGs directly. For crop/split pages, you may reuse tracked local crop assets under slides/v2-zoom/_typst/assets if they match the needed panel, but copy/reference them cleanly from slides/v2-review-zoom/_typst/assets; do not use any stale .wg-worktrees/agent-878 absolute paths. For canonical full-slide assets, copy from slides/v2-review/_typst/assets. Prefer a completed clean zoom deck over deriving every crop from scratch in this sparse environment.
