Description

Description

Panel synthesis flagged: poietic.life landing page does not list founders by name. v3 application leans on founder credibility heavily across §17c, §26, §36 — and cites poietic.life as the website URL. The credibility chain collapses if the website doesn't name the people.

This is MUST FIX M3 from the panel synthesis. The single highest-leverage fix if only one is possible.

What to do

  1. Read the current landing page deployed at ~/poietic.life/index.html (the live deployed file in the poietic.life repo).
  2. Add a founders section with three blocks (founder cards):
    • Erik Garrison — University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Created vg (foundational pangenomics toolkit, ~72,000 Google Scholar citations across the toolkit), built PGGB used by the Human Pangenome Reference Consortium. Nat Biotechnol 2018, Nat Methods 2024.
    • Luca Pinello — Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School / Broad Institute. Built CRISPResso2 (standard for CRISPR editing analysis, 18,700+ citations). CRISPRme independently identified an off-target in the BCL11A guide that became Casgevy, informing FDA review. Built Chorus to orchestrate genomic AI.
    • Vaughn Tan — Honorary Professor, UCL School of Management. Author of The Uncertainty Mindset (Columbia University Press, 2020). PhD Organizational Behavior, Harvard. Researches hybrid teams under uncertainty.
  3. Place the founders section between the public benefit statement and the 'What we've built' cards (or wherever fits the existing visual flow). Preserve the dark monospace aesthetic.
  4. Founder order: Erik, Luca, Vaughn.

Constraints

  • No em-dashes (CLAUDE.md style rule).
  • No 'PI' / 'lead PI' language.
  • Do NOT attribute C.Origami or Chromnitron to Luca.
  • CRISPRme / Casgevy framing factually precise per CLAUDE.md ('independently identified', not direct collaboration).
  • Single HTML file, no build step.
  • Style consistency with existing landing page.
  • Edit the deployed file at ~/poietic.life/index.html AND the worktree if needed. Commit and push to the poietic.life repo so the live site updates.

Output

A short note at ~/poietic.life/notes/m3-founders-block-20260501.md summarizing:

  • Where the founders section was placed
  • The exact text used for each founder
  • Confirmation the deployed page renders correctly
  • Git commit hash for the poietic.life repo

wg log a one-paragraph summary on this task.

Validation

  • Founders section added with three blocks
  • Erik / Luca / Vaughn order preserved
  • No em-dashes, no PI language
  • No C.Origami / Chromnitron attribution to Luca
  • CRISPRme / Casgevy framing precise
  • Page renders, dark monospace aesthetic preserved
  • Committed and pushed to poietic.life repo (live site updated)
  • Note at ~/poietic.life/notes/m3-founders-block-YYYYMMDD.md
